Yummy Yummy!

Hadlie has been more than ready for solid food so on Sunday we decided to try it out and see how she liked it...
She is crying because she saw her bottle and was ticked she didn't get it!

We decided to calm her down first...

She really took to the cereal!

By the end she couldn't wait for me to dish it up!

This is my first baby to finish the entire bowl on her first feeding! (little piggy)

Disneyland Trip

We just got back from a GREAT vacation to Disneyland! The kids had a great time and were a bit sad to be coming back home. Here are some pictures documenting our fun trip...
Paden calls this ride the Tomorrowland ride because it is right there when you enter Tomorrowland.
Paden was so excited to see his friend Woody!
Macie and Paden with their 3-D glasses waiting in line for Toy Story Mania (one of our new Favorite rides)
This Mr. Potato Head was so cute and he even talked to Paden! He was pretty cool!
Hadlie is waiting for the kids to get off of Dumbo...Isn't she cute?
The girls stood in line to see Tinkerbell. Paden kept on reminding everyone that he was a boy and that he didn't want a picture with the fairies.
Hadlie started a new trick while down in Disneyland...she has decided that she wants big people food and she kept on reaching for my dinner! It was pretty cute.
Macie and Ben on the Bumper Buggies...Macie and Paden just giggle the whole time they are on this ride!
You can't go to Disneyland and not ride the Tea Cups...(believe it or not, this is Ben's 1st time)

This is our first picture as an entire family since Hadlie was born...I can't think of a better place to have a family photo!

Paden's Turn...

Paden got to take a turn at the skiing thing and HE LOVED IT!!! Here are some pictures of the fun day we had up at Wolf Creek Mountain...
He loved trying to keep up with Macie...for anyone keeping track, he kicked my trash too!

He was so cute, when he fell down, he would say..."I'm ok"

The first few runs down he would make Ben do all the work...Ben sure earned his Coke today!

Look at that smile...he really is having fun!

My two cute skiing kids!

Trying to figure out why everyone keeps on telling him "pizza" when all he sees is snow!!

The Joy of Quiet Time!

I have come upon a new treasure...Quiet Time. I know what you are thinking, "Natalie, everyone knows about Quiet Time." and are probably right, but just recently I stepped it up a notch and had each of my non-napping kids take a "Quiet time" for 1 hour in their own rooms where they can read, play, sleep (rarely happens), or whatever they want to as long as they are semi-quiet.
Since we have been doing this, I have discovered that Macie has quite the imagination...the other day during quite time, she found her pretend cell phone and called each of the Disney Princesses and their respective Princes to come to a party at her house after her Quiet Time was over. (Paden still thinks that the Genie is coming to our house and keeps on asking when he will be here)

Today, she found her vtech camera (which makes movies) and is pretending to do a show about Disneyland. When Quiet Time was over she enlisted me to hold the camera and this is what she came up with...

I look forward to more funny stories that her imaginative mind will come up with!

Viva La Quiet Time!

Pulling a Martha...

So I decided to get in touch with my inner Martha Stewart and reupholster an old chair that my step mom gave to me. I bought some really pretty sage green fabric and covered this chair and now it is "front room" worthy! Here are some before and after pictures to you can see how much better it looks now...
Before...
After...

...I think I may add a really pretty paisley throw pillow too, we'll see!

Ski Bunny

On Valentines Day Ben, Macie and I went skiing. I wanted to take Paden too, but Ben said, "If I have to teach Paden, who is going to race after Macie? You can't ski as fast as she does." As sad of a statement as that is...he is totally right. She kicked my trash!
Macie needed one run down the bunny hill to remember how to ski and then we were chasing her every run after that...she went on trails through the trees and Ben had to go chasing her through the terrain course to go off a few jumps.
Chase, Rob, Iggy, Aspen, Macie, me and Ben in front of the "Barn" at Wolf Mountain.
Macie finally stopping so I could get a picture of her. I would try to get down the mountain before her so I could get a picture of her skiing, but she was way to fast and I really stink at this whole skiing thing. I had to beg her to let me go first so I could take pictures of her.
She looked so cute with her helmet and goggles!

Please can I hold her?

Macie and Paden are usually begging me for a chance to hold Hadlie...I guess I am pretty lucky that they like her so much. I love these three little stinkers!!
